CANON POINT: Post Season 1

BACKGROUND: Sense8 wiki and Wolfgang specifically.
INCENTIVE/FIT: Regarding incentive, Wolfgang will be approached while he's in Felix's (his best friend, currently in critical care, uncertain of recovery) hospital room, with the offer to employ the best doctors Eudio has, that can, without a doubt, see to it that Felix pulls through just fine. Felix is the closest person to Wolfgang's life, and the only one he truly considers to be 'family', given his blood relatives have been abusive and generally horrible to him his entire life. He says that Felix is his brother, by something not so accidental as blood. By something much stronger - choice. He would also agree to come work in Eudio in exchange for the safety of his Sensate cluster, but Felix's health is his most immediate concern, as he only has Wolfgang to rely on, thus the one that'll be offered to him. Either set of people, however, are plenty important enough to Wolfgang to kill for, so holding hands and snuggling should be a very easy yes from him.

As for fit, Wolfgang is canonically shown to have no issue with engaging in casual sex, and while he's not a huge fan of touchy-feely affection, he doesn't outright reject it if people he knows and likes are tactile with him, and he is definitely the down-to-fuck sort of person that won't have a problem with getting more physical than is strictly required. It's also canon that he has very little shame both in sex and nudity, regularly walking around naked in front of people, and not having the same sort of awkward panic with Lito that Will has after their accidental telepathic Sensate orgy. He's very comfortable in his skin and with himself in terms of sexuality, confident when flirting with others and unafraid to be the first one to make a move in a romantic situation. Wolfgang will find it weird that all the city wants from him is snuggles in exchange for high end medical care, but won't have issue actually carrying out physical intimacy in terms of just contact.

Emotional intimacy, however, is more of a challenge for him, given Wolfgang, while taking most all weirdness in his life in generally chill stride, has considerable difficulty in emotional connection with others. Being a child of abuse, and having grown up with a single confidant he's willing to be relatively open with (even with Felix that's pushing it, considering they never have Talks About Feelings) has left him immensely emotionally guarded. His hook ups are just that - hook ups. When asked by one of the girls he has a one night stand with if there could be anything more between them, he very definitively tells her he isn't looking for a relationship. His interest in Kala begins as him just trying to suggest sex with her, when he isn't commenting on her idea to go into a loveless marriage. He seems to have an understanding of emotional complication with people, tends to be very empathic in observing others (even fascinated or admiring at times), but prefers to be very detached from it in his own dealings, and has much more difficulty processing emotions and attachment when it's a personal aspect. As his relationship with Kala goes further from just 'I want you' into 'I have feelings for you', Wolfgang starts to withdraw, and expresses that she shouldn't be with him for the kind of person he is - capable of great coldness, intense violence and an fierce kind of anger. Wolfgang believes himself to be a 'monster', specifically in terms of 'like my father', who'd physically and emotionally abused him as a child. It's a deeper part of him that he feels makes up his core, and generally his regard of this is what keeps him more reserved and emotionally distant, acting very apathetic towards events and people around him as a consequence. This will be the main obstacle Wolfgang has to deal with in Eudio, if he's going to move from just generating sensual contact to real intimacy, likely to develop through his interactions with the other Sensates, as they have the advantage of just being able to feel what's going on with him without Wolfgang having to offer it, as well as with his gamewide, cross canon CR, made more difficult in that he'll have to learn to actually express and deal with these things outside of his head.

ANYTHING ELSE?

Wolfgang is a Sensate, which means he is telepathically/empathically linked to seven other members of his cluster (Capheus, Riley Blue, Sun Bak, Will Gorski, Kala Dandekar, Lito Rodriguez and Nomi Marks). He can "visit" with other Sensates (not necessarily in his cluster), meaning he can appear in the same place as them, to them, and see/hear/feel/taste/touch all that the Sensate he's visiting is experiencing. Within his cluster, Wolfgang can "share", which is visiting, but with the added effect of accessing all the memories and abilities the other Sensate has/is capable of, and vice versa. For instance, if he's sharing with Sun, he can speak Korean as fluently as he does his native language. If he's sharing with Lito, he can act as Lito and give him his abilities for hand to hand combat and marksmenship to beat up some creepy Mexican gangster dude, when Lito knows fuck-all about combat or working with real guns. This will be something I talk to the other Sense8 players in the game about regularly, and do a lot of OOC planning before I just have Wolfgang borrowing stuff left and right.
